The Story
It was the beginning of the 2nd age of middle earth and a lone being
named Annatar (Lord Of The Gifts) wandered the regions bearing advice and gifts for the people of middle earth. He was well
liked by Men and considered a good buisness partner by Dwarves but only the Elves the wisest of all did not trust him. But
the man courted them very strongly and finally the Noldor (except Galadriel and Celeborn) started to trust him. He taught
the Noldor how to forge magic rings and the Elves, especially Celebrimbor, heir of Feanor, forged many Rings of Power with
different magical characteristics. These rings were made of gold and mithril.
Secretly, Annatar forged the One Ring and all the other
rings which were forged by the Elves stood under the influence of the One Ring. While he was wearing the One Ring, Annatar
was able to see everything that the other ring-bearers were doing and he could read their thoughts. At first no one noticed
that the One Ring existed and that the other Rings of Power brought their bearers a long life. But then Annatar
used the One Ring. Celebrimbor noticed this and finally realized that Annatar was nobody else but Sauron the Dark Lord of
middle earth. Celebrimbor hid the Three Rings of the Elves (which were called Vilya, Nenya and Narya) because he knew that
Sauron would become an undefeatable Dark Lord if he got all the rings.
Sauron now started a war and captured all the Rings of Power except
the three elven ones. In the later years of the Second Age, Sauron gave the rings to those he wanted to become his slaves.
Seven rings he gave to the Dwarves. But the
Dwarves only became more and more greedy and the Dark Power of Sauron had not much influence on them because of their stubborness.
Nine rings he gave to the Men. These nine
men became the Great Kings of Men. They lived very long but they were easy to influence and soon they became servants of Sauron.
They became shadows and later they were called the Nazgul.
In the 3rd age the armys of the elves and men marched on the plains
of Mordor the dark lords land and their Isildur, Son of Elendil cut the ring from Saurons hand and he was
destroyed. Isildur had one chance to destroy the ring in the one place it could in the fires of mount doom where it was
made, however Isildur chose to keep the ring but being loyal to its master the ring destroyed Isildur and vanished into the
unknown. 3000 years later the ring was found by Smeagle a small hobbit. The ring put a spell on Smeagle and turned
him into the creature Gollum. Years later it was once again lost by Gollum and picked up by another hobbit "Bilbo Baggins"
who held it in secret for many years.
Sauron has once again rissen in the form of a great eye that can
see all of middle earth. He seeks his ring that can grant him his physical form and ultimate power and sends out his Black
Riders to search for it.
The ring is now in the hands of Frodo, Bilbo's nephew and after learning
that the ring he posseses is the "One Ring" he must set out on a quest to destroy it in the heart of mount doom accompanied
by eight companions who form the fellowship of the ring.
This quest draws many battles and obstacles to climb but it must
succeed in order to bring peace to the people of middle earth. It is a quest for peace, Its a QUEST FOR MIDDLE EARTH.
